Collection Spotlight: Marchesa Spring 2010
I never covered the Spring 2010 collections, besides the Milan shows and some of the Paris ones, honestly because I was being lazy. But recently going through collections, I have officially chosen my favorite collection from Spring 2010, and I’m not the only one:
Blake Lively, Rihanna and Katy Perry have all worn pieces from the uber fab and detail oriented collection to recent award shows and movie premieres. For all my FM fab bunnies, I present to you, the best Spring 2010 collection around:

For the Spring 2010 collection, Marchesa designer Georgina Chapman stated that her reference was the 1904 opera Madame Butterfly, which can explain the kimono style stiff satin gowns, and obi-esque folds. The collection also features designs that looks something like a pop-up book with the cut-out designs (see: Rihanna’s AMA gown).
