16th Annual Elle Women In Hollywood Tribute
It’s here again, when the fabulous worlds of fashion, and female empowerment collide to honor all the women in Hollywood- from newcomers to legends- who have made a mark and paved the way. It all went down last night in Beverly Hills at the Four Seasons Hotel, and I can say everyone “shut it down” (as Rachel Zoe would say):
Katie Cassidy wore a sparkling halter Lela Rose dress, Jimmy Choo sandals, and a Celestina clutch. The fit was great on her, love the pulled back hair, and I die for a smoky eye!
Modest mama and honoree Katie Holmes kept it simple and plain in Azzedine Alaia, but on trend with a sheer see-through top. I would have loved to see Katie up the glam factor, but what can we say? It’s Katie, Mrs. Cruise if ya’ nasty!
A pregnant Jenna Elfman showed off her baby bump in a Richard Sorger mini dress with fringe sleeves, Miu Miu sandals, Leyla clutch, and really dope Erickson Beamon necklace and ring. Love this look!
Honoree Zoe Saldana, who was awarded the Calvin Klein Collection Spotlight Award, wore none other than Calvin Klein Collection fresh off the runway, and Christian Louboutin pumps. Love this look on Zoe, I also love how she’s finally getting the recognition she deserves as an actress after so many years in the game.
Ford model Amber Rose came out rocking a strapless red mini with ruffle side detail, and YSL pumps. It’s an unusually understated look for the Rose garden but the lashes are hot (although you can’t see it here). But, umm, is that a name chain she’s wearing? Toto, you’re not in Philly anymore.
Honoree Emily Blunt looked really sophisticated in a cream Dolce & Gabbana dress with side bow and drape detailing. The draping added umph to an almost plain look. Kudos to Emily!
My favorite fly TV villain, Becki Newton, came out in a super plain strapless Dolce & Gabbana dress, which made me want to throw a bib necklace on her and run. Pretty plain, but still cute and flirty.
Diane Kruger went with a spotted blue Balenciaga dress, dotted tights and Manolo Blahnik sandal booties. Nothing about this look does it for me.. Beh!
Renee Zellweger looked lovely in a red strapless Carolina Herrera dress, and bronze pumps. She went with minimal accessories this go ’round, but it’s a good look on her.
And the regal lady of the night, Julie Andrews, who was honored with the L’Oreal Paris Legend Award, looked great in her black dress and pearls.
One of my favorite actresses and honoree Julianne Moore, was pretty simple and seemed to be confused about which event she was attending, but hey- it’s Julianne Moore! I <3 her!
Jennifer Carpenter was a bore on the carpet in this embellished t-shirt dress. This look was a MISS for me.
Honoree Robin Wright Penn rocked a tailored black suit and Christian Louboutin peep-toe pumps. Who said menswear is dead?
iCarly star Miranda Cosgrove rocked an age appropriate nude and black fringe and sheer detailed frock. Love this young, fresh look on her.
Willa Holland, I don’t know who you are, but I am loving this harem styled dress with cinched waist on you!
And that will conclude this.. see you next year!
