First Lady Fashion, Part 2

A while back, I did a post about the flyest first lady since Jaqueline Kennedy, Michelle Obama, and her impeccable style. Since then, it seems like every news outlet (related and unrelated to fashion) has picked up on the fly tendencies of Mrs. Obama:

Although her speeches have been some of her best moments, her style choices has been even better! Even though the accidental fashionista has international appeal, she stays true to American fashion while wearing designers such as Chicago-based Maria Pinto, Thakoon, Narcisco Rodriguez and even the budget conscious J. Crew. Whether it’s straight off the runways or straight off the rack, she never disappoints. Her style is always the talk of the ‘net, even her White House/Black Market dress that she wore on The View sold out the next day!

For those who were late on that, you can get the dress here for $148.

Michelle’s style always ceases to amaze me. Never boring, never disappointing and we just never what to expect with her! It makes me wonder, what will she be wearing for the Inauguration Ball? Well, Mrs. Obama, if you’re reading this, here are my suggestions:

Designers she should consider: Michael Kors, Carolina Herrera, Vera Wang, Zac Posen, Maria Pinto, Ralph Lauren and Tracy Reese. All American fashion designers and all fabulous!

Fab! But I’m not the only who came up with ideas of what she should wear. Check out what the Project Runway finalists came up with.
